A relatively newcomer to the buffet arena in the Metro. Marriott Cafe Offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Buffets for all occasions! Another choice at this side of the Metro.

The design of the place was contemporary. There were colorful lights, the ambiance was relaxed and casual. The wall/dividers were filled with decorative beans which made the place a bit homey and kitchen-ny…
Now the food.
Like I said, Marriott is relatively new in the Buffet Scene here in the country. One of the latest addition to our choices. Perhaps this is the reason why I did not find the buffet that fabulous enough. Or.. Maybe that’s just me…
Like the usual, they have several stations, Chinese, salad, Indian, grill and carving, dessert. The number of items were not that much, especially the dessert station – there was no fondue (that time).
Among all the dishes, one item became an instant hit – their grilled pork belly! Thinly sliced liempo grilled and topped with sweet chili sauce (which I am not sure if it was really for the liempo). OMG! it was so juicy and tasty and fatty (in a good, delicious way) I think I was able to eat about a kilo of it! Hahaha! :p It was perfect!
Here are the rest of the food.. in no particular order! :p
The buffet was small but the food selection was good. The rest was ok but I was a bit disappointed with the desserts, I hope they improve on this..
BTW the complimentary coffee was really good.. a perfect way to end my Liempo Buffet! 🙂
