Jonah’s Fruitshake and restaurant is Located in Station 1 of Boracay Island. It is very famous for its Mango Shake among others. Finding it is easy, It is very hard to miss if you were on the island and strolling by the beach. Currently, they have 2 branches, One is on the beach and one is located beside Crown Regency Hotel and Resort. You can access Jonah’s via the beach or via the Boracay road (Balabag Road?).

Made from the traditional Nipa Hut, Jonah’s by the beach is very homey, colorful inside and out the atmosphere is very relaxed, fun, and laid back. Most of the decorations were made from indigenous materials like shells. Often times, Jonah’s is packed with people (The best place to hang-out if you like people watching :p). A lot of walk-in customers order shakes to-go. And if you are not so lucky, you will have to wait to be seated.

The gang in Jonah’s were very warm, welcoming, and friendly too. If there is one room for improvement though is they should have a little bit more product knowledge. Why? Here’s why. I asked one of them who is Jonah, and she did not know, She asked here colleague and she just said, “Anak ng May-Ari”, ok, fair enough. Again I asked why is the food is called “Army Navy” and she told me she also had no idea, again, she asked on of her colleague, and just the same, no idea. They probably need some re-orientation? :p Anyway, that is just for me, who else asks questions like these anyway?! :p But it would probably be better if they were a bit informative for an Usi diner like me. :p

They said that when you come to Boracay, you must try (Try meaning, It is a  MUST) the best Mango Shake on the Island – Jonah’s.

Mango Milk Shake P75 (+10% SC)

And I could not agree more. What can I say, you had me at “Mango”.

Truly, their Mango Shake (And some other fruit concoctions) was one of the best, if not the best I have tried so far. How come? Hmm.. Let me think, probably it is the combination of a Sweet Ripe Mangoes, Milk (Which is an Option), Sugar Syrup, and the Best part, The Beach! 🙂 The Mango Shake was super smooth and creamy, tastes a lot like a smoothie.

But as I discovered from eating at Jonah’s for 2 days was they were more than just great fruitshakes. They offer more, a lot more good stuff! 🙂 As extensive as their Shakes Menu is the Food Menu of Jonah’s, they have a lot to offer Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks they have it. And I have tried some of their Dishes.

Choice of Tapa, Tocino, Longganisa, or Boneless Bangus served with egg, plain or garlic rice, and coffee or tea,

Tuna and Cheese Omelet P100 (+10%SC)

Don’t get me wrong, The Omelet was good BUT if I had known earlier that the bulk of the filling will be chunks (Chunks, as in Big Chunks) of Tomatoes and Onions instead of the Tuna and Cheese, I would have asked to have the Tomatoes and Onions removed. 🙂 you have the option if you want the omelet to be served with Rice or Toast.

Army Navy Sandwich P100 (+10%SC)

One of the Best Selling food Items of Jonah’s. Essentially, Jonah’s Army Navy Sandwich is just a ham and Egg Sandwich topped with their special cheese sauce which is soooo goood!! I mean, just by looking at it, you can really tell that It will taste good. On the picture below, there is a similar looking sandwich, that one was the Hot Stuff Sandwich P100+. It looks like the Army Navy but instead of the Egg, it was a Ham and Cheese Sandwich which was Equally Delicious.

Overall, Jonah’s is a great place especially if you cannot decide yet on what to eat. They have Rice Meals, Curries, Grilled Items, Pizza, Pasta, Sandwiches, Pancakes, Shakes, Crepes, among others. For the Price, I can say that it is reasonable, be prepared to spend at least P250 if you are going to eat something with a fruitshake 🙂

  1. i totally agree with you! Best Mango Milk shake ang Jonahs! i also tried their banana choco peanut shake and mango banana shake. Yumminess talaga! 🙂
i also like their choriburger but its kinda pricey since you can buy naman cheap choriburgers in the bbq stands. Their choriburger nga lang is big and has lettuce and tomatoes.
